![]() Does anyone else have any experiences with the above mentioned suites that they'd like to share? It would be interesting to find a perfect one that works all around. I'm just not comfortable with Google's office suite, that's why it's not mentioned. Both are available through flatpak, and wps is available through terminal as well. Then there's ONLYOFFICE desktopeditors, which is basically a MS Office copy, which works amazingly with less features. For connection to Mac or linking over the Internet there are two main options: Google Remote. There’s a Remote Desktop client app for Chromebook. If the Windows computer is in the same place (i.e same local network) then Microsoft’s Remote Desktop is enough. Onto Linux editors, I've used wps office for a while, it was pretty bad and I just wanted something that was comfortable to use. Use the Chromebook screen, keyboard and pad to operate another computer remotely. Other Android office suites are just bad in my usage, so I'm not even going to bring them up. That works smoothly without lag, but it has less features than a children's toy, although works offline. There's also the chrome extension which allows me to edit and create and view documents, ppts and spreadsheet. The only problem here is no offline usage. Definitely more of a desktop feel there, but once again, word is just. Then I switched to the web version, which is laggy at times, but gets the job done. The perk of this is that it works offline. The holy day also arrives after the 40-day Lenten season, which ends on the evening. The layout and overall feel of word was kinda iffy for me, excel was meh and PowerPoint was good, no major complaints there. In the Christian faith, Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus. ![]() I'm very comfortable with the MS Office Suite, and once I switched to chrome os, I got the android version and logged in with a school Microsoft account, thus allowing me to use the app.
